SUGGESTED Care of Quilted Items

Once I have finished any item (exceptions to this are scented trivets, scented rice trivets, rice heating packs.), all items are washed on a delicate cycle with either a baby detergent or a delicates / gentle wash detergent such as Woolite™, Drift™ or Zero™.

  1. All items are made from 100% cotton and all cotton is pre-washed.
  2. Items are washed after completion where possible - exceptions to this are scented trivets, scented rice trivets, rice heating packs. Exceptions to this will be noted on the webpages.
  3. It is recommended to use a cold water wash to prevent fading.
  4. You can use your regular cycle and regular laundry detergent to wash any quilted item. It is recommended to use the delicate cycle with a delicate detergent. This method will lengthen the life of your quilted item.
  5. You can either lay the item flat to dry, or use your dryer. All my personal quilts are washed on delicate with delicate detergents and then placed in my dryer.
  6. Over time rice trivets will lose their smell. You may purchase essential scented oils and apply a drop to the item.
