This candle mat is reminiscent of the Victorian era being made with darker colours in an era type pattern of Dresden fans, bordered with a thin strip of dark green. Paisley is the predominant fabric with bright yellow decorative stitching along the fan blades.
This candle mat measures approximately 18½" x 9½"; machine pieced, and quilted. Made with 100% cotton for top, backing and batting.
Freemotion quilting was done in variegated colours using a pattern of hearts. Backing fabric has red and blue orchid-type flowers on a white background with green leaves / stems.
This candle mat has been washed and made in a smoke free home.
